Elegance and beauty embedded in the abode of Nature

There is no prize for guessing the name of the bird. You call it elegant or beautiful, overall the sight of this bird is a mesmerizing experience for some and a symbol of blessings for others. It is symbolic of qualities like beauty, grace, pride, and mysticism. The elaborate courtship dance of the male, fanning out the tail, and preening its feathers is a beautiful sight. One of my friends knowing about my love for peacock sent me these pictures which he had clicked in Tadoba tiger reserve. Beautiful to look at, these birds do not sound as beautiful as they give out a harsh shrill. Nevertheless, it is their beauty and their ability to stretch their tail in an ostentatious display that makes people turn around to have a better look at them.
